Medical students, empowered to become changemakers.
We unite, empower, and inspire medical students across Thailand — providing growth opportunities, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and advocating for healthy communities and workspaces.
Seven committees. One standard for every project.
Each committee owns a field of work and runs its own projects, campaigns and trainings. Whichever one a project sits under, it goes through the same enrollment and the same quality review.
Teaching methods, curriculum advocacy, and the skills medical school doesn't always cover.
Community health campaigns, prevention, and the social determinants behind the diagnosis.
Comprehensive sexuality education, HIV/AIDS advocacy, and gender-based violence.
Health as a human right — refugees, equity, and the populations medicine overlooks.
Thailand's own committee, not a global one — health technology, data, and innovation.
Four- and eight-week research placements abroad, in a host university's own lab.
Clinical rotations abroad, with structured teaching, arrival training and a social program.
Most people don't know at first. Start at your own Local Committee — every medical school has one.
Turn an idea into an official project.
Enrollment is what makes a project officially affiliated with IFMSA-Thailand. It earns a national project code, a formal review, the right to issue recognized certificates, and a route to the international level.
-
STEP 01
Write your proposal
Follow the national Proposal Guideline — SMART objectives, an evaluation plan, SDG alignment, and a budget.
Read the guideline -
STEP 02
Submit during a round
Enrollment opens in defined rounds rather than continuously, so every submission gets a real review window.
-
STEP 03
Olympia review
The Olympia coordinator reviews your proposal against the guideline and returns feedback, with a revision window before approval.
-
STEP 04
Receive your project code
Approved projects are issued an official code —
TH26001for national,LC26001for Local Committee projects — used for tracking, certificates and closing documents.
Verify a certificate.
Only enrolled projects may issue IFMSA-Thailand certificates, and every certificate traces back to the project code that produced it. Enter a code and a name to confirm one is genuine.
