About us
A federation of medical students, run by medical students.
Thailand's member of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, one of the world's oldest and largest student-run organizations.
The federation
IFMSA was founded in 1951 and today represents more than 1.5 million medical students across 133 national member organizations in 123 countries. It is a non-governmental, non-profit organization in consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and is recognized by the World Health Organization as the international voice of medical students.
Its exchange programs move roughly 15,000 students across borders every year.
IFMSA-Thailand
IFMSA-Thailand is a federation of Local Committees based at medical schools across the country — from Chiang Mai to Songkhla — coordinated by a national Executive Board elected each term by the Local Committee Chairpersons.
It has seven standing committees: medical education, public health, sexual and reproductive health, human rights and peace, technology and innovation, plus SCORE (research exchange) and SCOPE (clinical exchange).
Students run everything. The national board sets the standards every project is held to.

Eleven national portfolios, elected each term. Each vice-president leads a department with its own officers, and most posts carry a deputy.
More names will be announced. A name is listed only once the officer has agreed. Until then, a seat shows its office and its mailbox.
